Annemarie Zwolsman is a photographer who draws her inspiration from fashion. Her photos and artworks display strong women. The images are authentic, stylish and outspoken. They are characterised by bright and powerful colours, high contrasts, extravagant clothes, high-end fashion and glamour.

Annemarie’s photographs capture women’s self-confidence, beauty and inner strength. She wants women to look at themselves with confidence and positive energy.

Annemarie’s photos and art are an entire part of who she is. She takes inspiration from fashion, haute couture, cosmetics, beauty, the sea and the beach. Other cultures and her travels to Africa, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Europe and America are also sources of inspiration for her work.

Annemarie was born and raised in Amsterdam, where she first worked as a make-up artist for Chanel International B.V. Later she was a branch store manager in the perfumery and cosmetics retail. She followed a photography course at the Dutch Academy for Image Creation, which has taught her how to translate her ideas and inspiration into images.

Her work is innovative, inspiring and stylish. Her photos come from the heart and reflect her emotions. She mostly works with Photoshop and Lightroom but she is also interested in the latest techniques surrounding editing, AI, high-end editing and digital make-up. Painting and mixed media also influence her work.

Annemarie’s ambition is to reach a larger audience and sell her photographs as interior artwork. She is also interested in high-end fashion shoots and shoots for magazines.
